First Aid can save lives
It all starts with an education. Are you ready to take action?

First aid is about taking immediate, decisive action when someone’s life may depend on it. But training for that moment only works if it prepares you for your reality – not a generic emergency in a generic room.
At First Aid Action, we build every course around the industry, the workplace, and the people in front of us. We use real scenarios, relevant props, and plain-language teaching so that what you learn stays with you long after the certificate is filed away.
Because first aid can save lives – and it all starts with the right education.
North Brisbane, South Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast First Aid Training & CPR Training
It is important to know how to administer first aid and to be prepared for emergencies.
There are three types of first aid:
1. First Aid – This is the immediate care given to someone who has an injury or illness.
2. Emergency First Aid – This is the care given to someone who has a life-threatening injury or illness until they can get medical help.
3. General Care – This is the care given when someone needs comfort and reassurance but does not need medical attention at that time.
We cover all three types in our first aid courses:
We also have specialised courses that are designed to teach first aid to particular industries:
First Aid Action is a Registered Training Organisation (31668) offering Nationally Accredited courses in First Aid.

Experience
Luella has spent almost two decades in clinical nursing and over 17 years in first aid training — but what makes her different from most trainers is this: she understands what it means to run a business.
As a business owner herself, she knows the pressures of compliance, the reality of tight schedules, and the weight of responsibility that comes with employing a team. That’s why she doesn’t deliver generic training — she customises every session to the industry, the workplace, and the people in the room.
From construction sites and electrical crews to childcare centres, gyms, and hospitality venues, Luella has trained thousands of Queenslanders across virtually every industry. Her sessions are known for being thorough, practical, and genuinely engaging.
In recognition of her work, Luella was named Micro-Business of the Year at the Ipswich City Council Business Awards.
Luella also has her own YouTube page with helpful videos and tips and tricks for First Aid!
