Course Overview

UETDRMP018 Perform Rescue from a Live Low Voltage (LV) Panel course provided by First Aid Action equips learners with practical skills and knowledge necessary for safe rescue of a casualty who has sustained injuries while working on low voltage conductors or equipment, in compliance with the ‘Electrical Safety Regulation 2002’ and ‘Queensland Electrical Safety Act 2002’.

This unit covers the skills and knowledge required to:

  • Prepare to perform a rescue from a live low voltage (LV) electrical panel.
  • Carry out the rescue according to workplace procedures and WHS/OHS requirements.
  • Provide CPR (as per HLTAID009) if required after the rescue.

Students attending courses delivered prior to 1st October 2025 will receive UETDRRF004 Perform rescue from a live LV panel instead of UETDRMP018 Perform rescue from a live low voltage panel.
